Gonna piggyback on everyone else and say Witcher 2 is solid. Honestly, I've only played the opening 3 or so hours of the second and third games and I enjoyed 2 a lot more. 2 is less "open world" and more so different story areas to explore, so it feels much tighter as a narrative experience.
